[Looking back on ...] Februar 2014

Morgen ist der erste März, und ich kann es kaum glauben, dass der Winter damit fast vorüber ist. Dieses Jahr hat das Wetter diesen Namen nicht wirklich verdient! Ich muss sagen, ich habe den Schnee sehr vermisst, so sehr ich ihn letztes Jahr im Frühjahr doch satt hatte ... Wart ihr froh über den warmen Winter, oder hättet ihr auch gern etwas knackige Kälte und weißes Schneegestöber gehabt?

Im Februar war ich wieder recht faul auf Instagram ... Wenn sich das so fortsetzt, werde ich mir überlegen, den Insta-Rückblick nur noch zweimonatlich zu machen. Ich bin einfach nicht die aktivste Knipserin, auch wenn ich es toll finde, auf Instagram zu sehen, wie viele Einblicke manche uns in ihr Leben geben. Was würdet ihr davon halten?

Tomorrow is the first of March, and I can hardly believe that winter is almost gone. This year the weather really did not deserve that name! I have to say I really missed the snow, even though I was heartily sick of it last spring ... Were you happy about the warm winter or would you also have liked some sharp cold and a flurry of snow?

In February, I was again rather lazy with taking pictures and posting them on Instagram ... If that continues, I might consider doing the Insta-review only every two months. I'm just not the most active photographer even if I love watching others share so many pictures of their lives on Instagram. What would you think of that?

Mein nächstes Nähprojekt! Leider musste ich feststellen, dass einer der Stoffe nicht wirklich passte, also war Umdenken angesagt. / Totoro und Granny Squares - mein Bett wird immer hübscher :). / Ab und zu muss man sich was Schönes gönnen, und so eine kleine Minipackung Pralinen ist dafür ideal, oder?

My next sewing project! Unfortunately I discovered that one of the fabrics didn't really fit, so I had to reconsider. / Totoro and granny squares - my bed is becoming cuter and cuter :). / Sometimes you deserve a little treat, and this miniature box of chocolates is perfect for that, isn't it?

[Looking back on ...] February 2013

Der Februar ist heute zu Ende - schon! -, und so ist es Zeit für einen kleinen Rücklick in Bildern.

Februar war irgendwie zum einen sehr kurz, kaum zu glauben, dass es nur drei Tage sind, die diesem Monat fehlen ... Zum anderen war es ein Blah-Monat. Das graue Wetter fängt an, mir auf den Wecker zu gehen, und selbst der Schnee begeistert mich nicht mehr wirklich. So habe ich auch wenige Bilder im Freien gemacht. Hoffentlich wird das bald anders!

Noch eine Neuigkeit gab's im Februar - noch im letzten "Looking back" sagte ich, ich hätte kein Smartphone und daher auch keine Instagram-Fotos. Dreimal dürft ihr raten, was ich diesen Monat gekauft habe ;) ...

Today February ends - already! -, and it's time to look back a bit in pictures.

On the one hand, February was somewhat very short, it's hard to believe that it's only three days this month is lacking ... On the other hand, it was very much a blah month. The grey weather is starting to go on my nerves, and it's even hard to get excited about snow any more. Therefore I also took very little pictures outside. I hope this will change soon!

Something that was new in February - only in the last "Looking back ..." post I mentioned that I didn't have a smartphone and therefore also no Instagram pictures. Three guesses what I bought this month ;) ...

Noch ein wenig Winter, und die eher schönen Seiten davon - Blick aus dem Küchenfenster und ein bisschen tapferes Gras im Schnee.

Mein neues Spielzeug - Instagram war zugegebenermaßen eine der ersten Apps, die ich runtergeladen habe ;).

My new toy - I admit, Instagram was one of the first apps I downloaded ;).

Lieblingsfrühstück - ich liebe gerade die Kombination Himbeere-Banane-Vanille sehr! - Bunte Begleiter im Alltag - es überrascht mich, dass sie farblich so gut aufeinander abgestimmt sind ;).

My favourite breakfast - currently I'm all about the combination of raspberries, bananas and vanilla! - Colourful companions in everyday life - I was surprised that their colours match so well ;).


Herumspielen mit einem meiner derzeitigen Lieblingsröcke - mal lang, mal kurz!

Ich habe endlich mal wieder auch die Aquarellfarben ausgepackt und ein Bild gemalt - das fertige Ergebnis zeige ich euch noch! - M2 ist albern, aber grad deswegen habe ich sie ja lieb - und weil ich immer die Marzipanschokolade von ihr bekomme, die sie nicht mag ;).

I finally pulled out my water colours again and painted a picture - I'll show you the finished result another time! - M2 is silly but that's why I love her - and because I always get the marzipan chocolate she doesn't like ;).

Jetzt freue ich mich auf März, mit hoffentlich etwas mehr Sonne und wärmeren Temperaturen, mit vielen Projekten und viel Spaß :).
